All prices are inclusive of VAT, charged at the current rate of 17.5%. Prices are valid until 31st December 2010.
Booking Conditions
All prices quoted are for room hire only. No bookings will be accepted until the client has viewed the property. From this date, a provisional booking can be made and held for two weeks. A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 is required for a Civil Ceremony only. A non-refundable deposit of £500.00 is required for a Civil Ceremony with Reception or Reception only to confirm the booking. A full copy of the Booking Terms and Conditions can be found on the reverse of the Booking Form.
Catering
You are at liberty to choose your own caterer. The option of in-house catering for wedding breakfasts is available, menus and price lists will be provided on request. Please note, for receptions over 60 guests a standing buffet is the only permissible option for catering, unless a marquee is used.
Bar Services
Due to the unique nature of Castle House you can provide your own drinks for which there will be no charge/corkage. Drinks packages are available from our caterers to include reception drinks, wine, soft drinks and champagne, price lists will be provided on request.
Accommodation
Three self-catering apartments are available on the first and second floors of Castle House, each sleeping four guests. The Quality in Tourism ratings for these apartments are 4 star – 5 star. Prices per apartment range from £480 to £670 per three night weekend break (mid week and full week breaks also available - visit www.castle-accommodation.com)and are subject to availability at the time of booking.
Castle House Amenities
Castle House is currently open to the public with a tea room/restaurant, which has an outdoor terrace. The terrace is open from Easter until autumn and visitors sitting on the terrace would be able to see, but have no access to, your wedding party within the Castle House gardens.
Smoking
There is a NO smoking policy throughout the property.
Candles (Naked Flames)
No candles, or any naked flames, are permitted within Castle House.
Parking
One designated car parking space is provided for the Bridal car on the day of the wedding.
The Beacon Room and the Library in Castle House are licensed for marriages under the 1949 Act.
