The Beacon Rooms
A maximum of 100 chairs are available for a conference/meeting lay out.
A maximum of 70 can be seated, for dining. (Tables are available)
Catering
The Beacon Room kitchen is available for use by outside caterers of your choice, for food preparation and presentation, and for serving coffees/teas and light refreshments.
Alternatively the in-house Castle Tea Room and The 1086 Restaurant – both of which are open to the public – can provide refreshments. Requirements can be discussed with our highly professional and creative caterer.
Heating
Heating is supplied throughout the building by an air comfort system.
Music
The building is licenced for music. We do not arrange music or entertainment for your event, but require notification in advance of your arrangements to ensure they are covered by our license.
PLEASE NOTE – Allowances must be made to ensure that noise levels take into consideration the residential areas above The Beacon Room.
Alcohol
The venue is licenced – we require notification in advance if alcohol is being served during your event.
Smoking
There is a No smoking policy throughout the property.
Accommodation
Castle House has three self - catering holiday apartments (Quality Assurance Ratings 5 star and 4 star), all designed and finished to the highest standards. Brochure available upon request.
Car parking
There is no parking on site. The nearest public car park is one minute away from the venue, in Castle Square. A Park and Ride scheme is in operation from the outskirts of the town, with the drop off point being in Castle Square.
Location
Ludlow is on the A49 between Shrewsbury and Hereford.
Links to the M5/M6 are via A456 through Kidderminster.
Ludlow has direct trains from Cardiff, Crewe, Hereford,
Liverpool, London (via Newport), Manchester, North Wales and Shrewsbury.
