The Beacon Rooms in Castle House, which has been described as “the last grand mansion built in Ludlow”.
The castle, dating from 1086, is the heart of Ludlow – a working market town, laid out in the original medieval “grid” and featuring a wealth of architecture from fine black and white properties to grand Georgian houses.
The Beacon Rooms, approached along a curved gravel pathway, have a private
entrance into Castle House.
On entering through the Ante Room/Foyer a large pair of doors open into The Beacon Rooms. This splendid room has high ceilings, with plaster frieze work, oak floor, ornate features, and two sets of French doors leading on to the terrace and garden area.
The Library has floor to ceiling leaded windows with window seat, marble fireplace and antique furniture which all create an intimate and cosy feel to this delightful small room.
The Servery is a perfect room for drinks and buffets to be laid out for your guests.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with a six plate electric hob and double oven, upright fridge, upright freezer, microwave, hot cabinet, commercial dish washer, crockery stacking racks, hand wash basin, sink and food preparation tables.
